Sawgrass Moving
and Relocation

One flat number, our own bilingual crew on both ends — built for snowbird seasons, gated 55-plus communities, and high-rise HOA move-ins across the Palm Beaches.

Two minutes is all it takes — we email back a written, locked flat rate, usually before the next business hour is out

We send a written number back the same business day. Free estimate, no obligation. Whatever you share stays with our Lake Worth office — it is never sold off or handed to a broker.

01 What we move

Condo downsizing or a four-bedroom in Wellington, our Sawgrass crew handles it

02 Why us

The truck at your gate and the crew in your elevator both work for Sawgrass

Book us and the rig that pulls up to your community gate is ours, the paperwork is ours, and the bilingual movers wheeling your furniture into a freight elevator are on the Sawgrass payroll. We do not pass your household to a stranger. That is the whole difference between a real licensed Florida mover and a broker, which simply sells your job off to whichever outfit will take it cheapest and steps back the moment you sign.

Sawgrass Moving and Relocation
  • Every mover who shows up is a bilingual, background-checked Sawgrass employee on our own trucks — we never hire day labor or hand the keys to some carrier scrounged up that morning
  • One flat rate, signed and held to the dollar — what we wrote on your quote is exactly what you hand over
  • From that first box lifted in Lake Worth to the final piece set down at your new address, you keep the very same crew
  • Florida (FDACS) intrastate registration, USDOT/MC authority for interstate runs, and full coverage on every job
  • One Lake Worth office and one person you can reach, from the first phone call to the last box carried in
What a broker does
  • Auctions your move off to whatever carrier happens to bid lowest that particular week
  • Watches the total balloon once the truck arrives, padded with fees that never came up during the sale
  • Loads everything you own onto a truck driven by people you were never introduced to
  • Dodges the question of which insurer foots the bill when something arrives broken
  • Parks a call center in the middle, so you can never reach the people actually carrying your boxes
03 How we quote

One flat price.
In writing.
No hourly clock.

We go through your actual inventory first, then put one binding number on paper before the truck ever moves — nothing is metered while you watch the minutes add up. That number on the sheet is the entire bill, and it does not change on move day.

Locked, not metered

a home walkthrough or a video estimate sets your flat rate, and it holds from there

Nothing tacked on

no fuel surcharge, no stair or freight-elevator fee, no surprise “heavy item” line on the day

Same crew, start to finish

the Sawgrass crew that loads in Lake Worth is the crew that unloads at the far end

04 Keeping your move safe

Your things get the same care in a downpour that they would on a clear day

Every truck rolls out stocked with pads, stretch film, and shrink wrap, so furniture stays padded and drawers stay shut whether we are clearing a CBS tile-roof home on slab, downsizing a unit in Century Village, or working a freight-elevator window in an oceanfront tower. In the June-to-November wet season we load at dawn to beat the afternoon storms and wrap tight against a sudden downpour.

Quilted pads

Every dresser, table, and headboard is blanketed right where it stands, and that padding goes on well ahead of the moment anything rolls toward the doorway.

Stretch film

Drawers stay shut and upholstery stays dry — wrapped tight against a surprise afternoon storm on the carry to the truck and the humidity in the trailer all the way to your door.

Floor & doorway guards

Runners go down, rails get wrapped, and jambs get padded as the very first thing we do — so by the time we drive off, your tile, railings, and trim are exactly as untouched as they were that morning.

Built-to-fit crating

Mirrors, glass tabletops, framed art, and flat screens each earn a crate assembled right there in the room, sized corner to corner for an exact, snug fit.

Break-down & rebuild

Bed frames, dining tables, and sectionals come apart so they ride safely, and once they clear the doorway of your new home our crew reassembles every one.

Straps, dollies & gear

A freight-elevator high-rise, a tight condo corridor, or the heaviest single item you own — each one calls up the matching tie-downs and rigging from our truck, and none of that equipment is ever left behind.

05 How it works
1

Tell us the basics

Both ZIP codes, your move date, and the size of the home — a couple of minutes, nothing owed.

2

Get the flat rate in writing

We go through your real inventory and lock it all into one binding number you can hold us to.

3

Our crew arrives on time

Uniformed, bilingual, background-checked, and loaded early with shrink wrap for whatever the Florida sky has planned.

4

Done at the price we quoted

We load, we drive, we set every room back up — and the final bill matches the number on your sheet.

On the road out of Lake Worth and across the Palm Beaches

The crew at your gate is on our payroll, not some subcontractor's

Every truck on the road is ours and every one is staffed by full-time Sawgrass movers, so the same bilingual crew runs your Lake Worth move from the first box to the last.

10 Good to know

The questions Palm Beach County movers ask us most

Are you a moving company?
Yes — Sawgrass Moving and Relocation is a fully licensed and insured Palm Beach County moving company running our own trucks and uniformed crews, with Florida FDACS registration and USDOT/MC authority. We own the fleet and keep the crews on our own payroll — nothing brokered out, nobody subcontracted.
How do you set the price?
It starts with a quick home walkthrough or a video estimate. From your real inventory we write one flat rate on paper — no hourly meter running behind it. The number on that sheet is the full price, with nothing tucked underneath it.
How early should I lock in a date, especially in season?
Snowbird high season runs November through April and fills our calendar fast, so two to three weeks of lead time is wise then. Summer dates and mid-month, midweek slots open up more easily, and when a crew has a gap we are happy to take same-day and last-minute jobs too.
Which types of moves can you handle?
Everything from local jobs around Lake Worth and across Palm Beach County to long hauls out of Lake Worth up I-95 or the Turnpike to anywhere in the country — the classic Florida-to-Northeast snowbird runs included. Pianos, gun safes, and antiques are no trouble either; the awkward, high-stakes pieces are part of the job.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — Sawgrass holds Florida (FDACS) intrastate moving registration, USDOT/MC authority for interstate work, and full cargo and liability coverage. When a tower or HOA needs a certificate of insurance, just tell us the requirement and a same-day COI is almost always on its way.
Can you handle an oceanfront condo or a gated 55-plus community?
Constantly. Freight-elevator reservations and move-in windows in the Intracoastal and oceanfront towers, building COIs, dock-time slots, and the gate and clubhouse rules at Century Village, Valencia, and Kings Point are all routine for us — give us the building or community and we square away access before move day.
Got a piano, a gun safe, or some other unwieldy item?
Not a problem — uprights, baby grands, and full grands are everyday work, and the crew arrives with the boards, straps, and rigging the piece calls for. Gun safes, antiques, and oversized art get the same deliberate handling.
Can you pack and bring the boxes too?
Absolutely — choose a full pack and we box the whole home, or a partial and we cover just the rooms with breakables. The boxes, paper, and tape all come in on our truck.
