01 Overview

Boca Raton sets the bar for rules, and we’re glad to meet it. The affluent gated country clubs — Boca West, St Andrews, the Mizner-style communities — and the oceanfront towers along the coast all come with strict HOA move-in windows, certificate-of-insurance requirements, and approved-vendor lists. Sawgrass Moving and Relocation lives inside those rules every week. We’re a fully licensed Florida (FDACS) and USDOT/MC mover with our own trucks and our own uniformed bilingual crew, and we carry our own insurance, so the COI a Boca association wants is never a problem.

Planning a move in this corner of Palm Beach County? Palm Beach County moving crew works these gated communities, oceanfront towers, and 55-plus villages just about every week.

Country-club communities and the paperwork

A Boca gated community will ask for a certificate of insurance, an approved move-in window, and sometimes a deposit held by the association. Carmen in our office handles all of it — she issues the COI naming the HOA and management, confirms your permitted move hours, and gets our truck and crew pre-registered at the gate so the guard is expecting you, not questioning you.

Oceanfront high-rise condos, done right

  • Freight-elevator and dock-time reservations confirmed with the building
  • Certificate of insurance issued to the association and the front desk
  • Elevator padding, lobby runners, and door protection from dock to unit
  • Crew sized to finish inside the building’s approved move window

Discreet, on-schedule, no surprises

Boca residents expect a crew that’s quiet, uniformed, and on time, and that’s how we run. Our high-rise lead Kyle keeps the move tight to the booked elevator slot so you’re not charged a building overage, and the same crew loads and unloads so nothing is handed off. In the June-to-November wet season we start early to beat the heat and shrink-wrap against the afternoon storms rolling off the Atlantic.

A flat quote that respects your time

We give Boca moves one flat price up front — no hourly meter ticking while we wait on an elevator. A studio or one-bed opens at $425 flat; hourly options run $165/hr for two movers or $225/hr for three, minimum waived. A $115 deposit holds your approved move date and credits to the final bill. We move Boca Raton

Our crews run Boca Raton week in and week out, so the gate codes, the HOA move-in windows, the freight-elevator reservations, and the security checkpoints are second nature long before the truck rolls up. Our quote is a single flat rate, set down in writing — you will not find unexpected charges tucked into the fine print.

02 Why us

Whatever name is painted on the truck is the same name signed on your contract

Book Sawgrass and the truck at your curb is ours, the paperwork is ours, and the bilingual crew wheeling your sofa onto the condo freight elevator draws a Palm Beach County paycheck from us — your move is never sold off. A broker runs the opposite way: they shop your job to whoever underbids that week, then vanish from the picture.

Sawgrass Moving and Relocation
  • The trucks belong to us and so do the full-time, background-checked movers riding in them — we never staff a job with day labor scraped off a listing board
  • Whatever figure we put on paper is the figure you settle — locked in, signed, and exact to the dollar
  • One unchanged crew, from the first box hoisted onto the truck to the last one carried through your new door
  • Florida (FDACS) intrastate moving registration, USDOT/MC on the books for interstate runs, and every single job backed by full insurance and up to $1,000,000 in cargo coverage
  • One Lake Worth office and one point of contact, from your first call to the last box set down
What a broker does
  • Hands your move off to whatever outfit happens to undercut the rest that week
  • Allows the price to balloon the day of the move, padded with extras that were never raised beforehand
  • Sends a crew you have not exchanged a single word with up your staircase, your whole household in their hands
  • Keeps it vague about which insurance policy actually covers a TV that hits the floor
  • Stands a call center in your way, so reaching whoever eventually turns up to load is a maze

What Boca Raton movers ask us

Can you meet the strict HOA and COI rules at Boca West or St Andrews?
Yes, and we expect them in Boca. The country-club communities like Boca West and St Andrews and the oceanfront towers all require a certificate of insurance, approved move-in hours, and sometimes a refundable deposit with the association. Carmen handles the COI and the paperwork directly with management before move day so the gate and the front desk are expecting us.
Do you move into oceanfront high-rise condos along A1A?
Regularly. Our high-rise lead Kyle reserves the freight elevator and dock time, pads the elevator, and runs floor protection from the loading area to your door. Oceanfront buildings are strict about move windows and service entrances, so we confirm your slot with the building and keep the crew on schedule to stay inside it.
My country-club community only allows moves on weekdays. Is that a problem?
Not at all — we plan around it. Many Boca communities restrict moves to certain weekday hours and bar weekends. We schedule your move inside the community's permitted window, register our truck and crew at the gate ahead of time, and size the team so the whole job finishes within the allowed hours.
