Sawgrass Moving and Relocation started in 2013 in a Lake Worth warehouse with one truck and a simple complaint about how local moving worked. Owner Marco Delgado had spent years in warehouse and logistics work around the Palm Beaches, and he kept hearing the same story from neighbors: a quote on the phone, then an hourly clock that somehow stretched past every estimate, then a bill nobody recognized. He thought South Florida deserved a mover that just told you the number and stood by it.
That is still the whole idea. We are a real, licensed Florida moving company, not a booking middleman. We hold Florida FDACS intrastate moving registration and USDOT/MC authority for interstate work, we run our own fleet, and we put our own uniformed bilingual crews on every job. When you book Sawgrass, you get Sawgrass at both ends of the move.
The people who show up
Marco still works the schedule and walks the bigger jobs himself. Carmen Ruiz runs the office: scheduling, billing, and the certificate-of-insurance paperwork that the high-rise condos along the Intracoastal demand before move day. Trevor Nash runs the daily truck board out of dispatch, matching crews and routes to the calendar. On the trucks, our crew chiefs each have a specialty: Luis Ferrer leads piano and specialty items, Omar Castillo runs the long-haul crews heading up I-95 and the Turnpike, and Kyle Stockton handles the high-rise and stair-heavy jobs where freight-elevator timing and dock slots make or break the day. Behind them is a crew of thirteen movers, eighteen of us in all.
