What happens after you request a quote
Sawgrass quotes are built on real details, not a guess off the top of someone’s head. Once you send the form or call our office, Carmen or Marco will go through your inventory, your home size, your two addresses, and the particulars that move the number in South Florida: the floor you are on, whether there is a freight elevator and what its reserved window looks like, whether your tower requires a certificate of insurance, and any HOA move-in or dock-time restriction. From that, we build one flat number for the whole job and lock it before move day.
What we need from you
- Pickup and destination addresses, with the building or gated-community name for high-rise or gated addresses
- Home size and a rough inventory, plus specialty items like a piano, gun safe, or oversized appliances
- Floor and elevator details, and whether a COI is required for either building
- Your target date and any move-in window or dock slot you already know about
The flat-rate promise
The number we quote is the number you pay. No hourly meter quietly climbing through the afternoon, no fees that appear at the curb. Local flat-rate moves open at $425 for a studio or one-bedroom, or you can book hourly at $165 for two movers and a truck or $225 for three, with the one-hour minimum waived. To put your date on the books we ask for $115, which then comes right back off the total you pay at the end. Every move travels under released-value coverage of $0.60 per pound, with full-value protection available and up to $1,000,000 in cargo coverage per shipment.
