High-Rise and Apartment Moving Through Strict HOA Buildings
The oceanfront and Intracoastal towers across the Palm Beaches do not let just anyone roll a truck up to the dock. They demand certificates of insurance, freight-elevator reservations, dock-time slots and tight move-in windows, and they turn crews away that show up unprepared. Sawgrass Moving and Relocation handles these buildings week in and week out, so the red tape is our job, not yours.
From Boca Raton to Wellington, Palm Beach County movers sets the entire move as one written number — the figure on the estimate is the figure on move day.
The Paperwork, Handled Before Move Day
Most condo associations from West Palm Beach down to Boca require a certificate of insurance naming the HOA before you move a single box. Our office manager, Carmen Ruiz, issues that COI with the exact wording your building wants and gets it on file ahead of time. We also book the freight elevator in your name, lock the loading-dock slot and confirm the building’s allowed days and hours, because plenty of towers only permit moves on weekday windows and blackout weekends entirely.
Crews Built for Towers and Walk-Ups
Our high-rise and stairs chief, Kyle Stockton, sizes the crew to the building. A long carry from a distant dock, an elevator with a weight cap, a third-floor walk-up with no lift at all, each one changes how many movers go out. We hang elevator pads where management requires them and lay lobby and corridor protection so the building stays clean and you stay on good terms with the association. In wet season we hit the dock at dawn so the load is up before the afternoon storms soak the loading area.
One Flat Number, Our Own Crew
Sawgrass runs its own trucks and bilingual crews under Florida FDACS registration and USDOT/MC authority; we never broker your move to an outside carrier. For pricing you can run hourly at $165 for two movers and a truck or $225 for three, with no one-hour minimum, or settle the job on a flat rate that opens at $425 for a studio or one-bedroom. A $115 charge holds the date and is later set against your final bill. Released-value coverage is $0.60 per pound standard, full-value is available, and cargo protection runs to $1,000,000 per shipment.

How the price gets set
It starts with a short walkthrough or video survey, and from your real inventory we write one flat Palm Beach County rate — no hourly clock hiding anywhere in it. What that quote reads is the whole price, with nothing tacked on once the truck is loaded or the storm rolls through.
